I thought you’d never ask.

I’m Samantha DeLuna, owner of The Half Orange. I’ve spent most of my career planning, designing and coordinating events—everything from bougie dinner parties, to taco bar weddings, to million dollar fundraisers. I love creating order out of chaos— hat feeling when a day just flows. For me, that’s not about making everything so precious and immaculate that you don’t want to touch it. It’s about creating an experience that tells a story, where people aren’t just there—they’re a part of it. On a spectrum of conventional to quirky, let’s just say I rocked a fire-engine-red dress at my own wedding. So if you want to see me get really excited, just say the words, “We’re interested in something a little different.”

The Half Orange?

Mi media naranja is Spanish for “my half orange.” It’s kind of like calling someone your soulmate, but in a more playful, less stuffy sort of way. Your half orange is your partner in crime, your bestie, your bae—the person who’s always in your corner no matter what. It’s my way of saying, “I’ve gotchu, boo.”
